It’s a month of award announcements across Istoria Group.

Earlier this year we announced that we were finalists for five awards covering sustainability, entrepreneurship and creativity. As with many awards, the ceremonies will take a different guise. Each of the awards below will be held virtually. Read on for a quick recap of each award, links to register, and watch what it means for our Chairwoman, Claire Menzies to be nominated for not one, but two awards.

IEMA Sustainability Impact Awards

Ignition have been recognised for innovation in sustainability with two shortlists for the IEMA Sustainability Impact Awards 2020, the ‘Sustainable Leader’ and ‘Sustainable Organisation’ categories. This is a great achievement and builds upon success earlier this year, winning a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development.

Bristol Life Awards

We’re pleased to be Creative finalists at the Bristol Life Awards this year following Ignition’s success winning the creative award last year. The category celebrates the best of Bristol’s creative sector. This is not only a great opportunity, but also a great accomplishment to be chosen as a finalist.

Great british entrepreneur awards

We’re delighted that our Founder and Chairwoman has been shortlisted for the ‘Creative Industries Entrepreneur’ and ‘Scale-up Entrepreneur of the Year’ award at the 2020 Great British Entrepreneur Awards for the South West region! Despite a very tough year for so many, we’re told that there were a phenomenal number of applications and it’s clear that entrepreneurial spirit is very much alive and well.
