This group of creative agencies is looking for a proactive and efficient Marketing Manager to help drive business development and be seen and heard in the right places.

About Istoria Group

Founded in 2007, Istoria Group is a collective of creative agencies with distinct but complementary skill sets, a fantastic collaborative spirit and the shared ambition to make our clients more visible, more relevant and more compelling to their customers. The group consists of three sister agencies: Ignition: specialists in exhibitions, events and experiences, Phoenix Wharf: interior design and branding for hospitality clients, and Tiny Spark: offering digital experiences that deliver sensory storytelling. Individually, each agency is a specialist in its respective field. Collectively, we can look after all our clients’ creative needs.

We want to make sure we get on the right pitch lists, both as a group and as individual companies, and are strong in the sectors we have identified and that we don’t double up on cross-company efforts.

We are now seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to help us be more visible and win new clients in our target sectors across the group. We are entrepreneurial go-getters and we’re looking for a like-minded mid-weight marketer with a structured, organised and proactive approach to marketing & strategic business development.


Marketing & PR

  • Manage, log and measure the execution of the marketing plan.

  • CRM management (HubSpot)

  • Working alongside a strategic PR partner, post thought leadership & news content for the group across websites and social channels.

  • Be the go-to person for monitoring, updating & reviewing social media efforts across our group websites, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram.

  • Experience with paid media campaign management, including Google Ads and LinkedIn advertising.

  • Arrange photography and write photography briefs of completed projects or live events.

  • Write & submit award entries (repurposing press release copy) for all agencies.

  • Write new case studies for web, mailing campaigns, and help create bespoke credentials for meetings and pitches.

  • Internal communications – help coordinate monthly and quarterly update information from group agencies for the CMO to send out at the end of each month.

Strategic Business Development

  • Execute, log and measure the new business plan.

  • Keep an eye on new business opportunities in target sectors and inform the business development team.

  • Co-create and manage multi-channel new business campaigns to support sales team and business targets.

  • Manage social selling initiatives as part of a multi-channel sales and marketing approach

  • Take ownership and manage HubSpot Marketing Hub/CRM database across the group

  • Ensure the new business team is aware of any PR and marketing initiatives to use as talking points to prospective clients.

  • Help with creating fee proposals, RFPs and pitch documentation when required.

  • Develop client case studies (repurpose press release).

  • Report to the Group CMO and work alongside sister agencies’ business development managers to ensure no overlap occur.

THE ROLE


  • Marketing experience is essential. Ideally you’ve done a similar role at a named design agency or another creative discipline.

  • Experience in managing multi-channel sales and marketing campaigns.

  • Understanding the importance of ROMI.

  • Proficient in the use of CRMs, Microsoft Office apps and social media platforms.

  • Strong communication skills and strong attention to detail.

  • A passion for creative agency business.

  • A positive, can-do attitude and be a pro-active, hands-on person.

  • A nice person to work with.

  • Targets & results driven.

  • Good understanding of marketing a creative agency.

  • You understand what intelligent business development means, alongside strategic marketing & PR.
