Taking a look at
Home
We are taking a look at fellow businesses with sustainability at the heart of what they do, across fashion, beauty, and home. These game-changers are firmly dedicated to the responsible-product cause as we are to responsible service. If there are other sectors you’d like our agency to take a deep dive into, please get in touch.
If you missed our previous blog on Fashion you can read it here.
EcoBirdy (Belgium)
ecoBirdy recycles discarded plastic toys and turns them into colourful kids’ furniture. The brand has set up its own collection system and developed a schools programme and storybook to introduce children to the circular economy. Follow @ecobirdy
Really (Denmark)
This brand was co-founded by textile manufacturer Kvadrat to upcycle its offcuts, as well as end-of-life textiles from the clothing industry. These fibres are transformed into high-density boards used in interior projects. Follow @kvadrattextiles
GoodWaste (UK)
This London-based brand creates homeware pieces crafted from offcuts and waste from industrial and building sites, temporary constructions, or even melted candle wax collected from restaurants and pubs. The collective strives to realise a new model for circular, super-local design manufacturing. Follow @goodwaste__
Bedzzzy (Netherlands)
Bedzzzy has developed the first completely circular mattress made from just steel and polyester. It can be bought or leased through a subscription service, which ensures correct recycling at the end of the product life cycle. Follow @bedzzzy_nl
Neat (UK)
This plant-based and biodegradable range of multipurpose cleaning products is delivered as concentrates in small glass containers. These can then be mixed with water in the brand’s reusable spray bottle, made from aluminium and silicon. Follow @weareneat
OceanSaver (UK)
OceanSaver does away with producing bottles altogether. Instead, customers are prompted to rebrand any empty spray bottle with the stick-on label provided with its (plant-based, non-toxic, vegan, cruelty-free and biodegradable) EcoDrops cleaning formula. Follow @oceansaverdrops
