Ignition wins Queen's Award for Enterprise
We’re very pleased to announce that Ignition (Part of Istoria Group) has been named as recipients of The Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development.
The Queen's Awards for Enterprise is an awards programme aimed at rewarding British businesses and other organisations who excel at international trade, innovation or sustainable development. It represents the very highest and most prestigious official UK awards for British businesses. 220 British businesses received the award this year. The Sustainable Development category, however, only contains 19 winners nationally, so we’re incredibly proud that Ignition is included.
Ignition launched in 2007 and sought to do things differently – more responsibly, more thoughtfully, and with greater environmental care. Sustainability is not, of course, their core business, but has nonetheless been an integral part of their practice, process and ethics from the outset and has been contributed to over the years by every member of the Ignition team in the UK and the US – and by cooperating with forward-thinking clients, partners and suppliers.
Ignition’s people-management endeavours have been rewarded in recent years with UK’s Best Workplaces and MM&M Best Places to Work Awards in the US, whilst their commitment to the highest possible quality of work has been rewarded with three ISO standards. The Queen’s Award for Enterprise is the crowning glory, however.
